Who we are
We are the dLife Foundation. Our goal is to promote education and motivation for people with diabetes, particularly children with diabetes, in order to empower them to take control and live a healthy, long life. Our focus is less clinical and scientific, and more about the psychological, social and emotional challenges of diabetes.
The dLife Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 federally-recognized charity with all proceeds used to benefit people with diabetes. The dLife Foundation is independent of any and all commercial entities.

Who we support
The dLife Foundation supports individuals who are in need of diabetes supplies, education and motivational programs through organizations, foundations and camps. The dLife Foundation also funds diabetes organizations who share our goals of helping those in need; educating those who need to learn how to manage their diabetes, motivating all to take control; and fund research focused on the emotional and psychological aspects of diabetes.

dLife Diabuddy Camp Pal
One of the best experiences for a child with diabetes is being able to enjoy the friends and fun of camp while interacting with others who share the same challenges; to experience first-hand that they are not alone and others have the same challenges with diabetes. But the unfortunate truth is that many children who would otherwise go to camp if given the chance are unable to due to the lack of unavailable funds. The dLife Foundation believes that every child should have the opportunity to spend their summer in one of the many outstanding diabetes camps throughout the United States. Becoming a dLife Diabuddy Camp Pal offers you the opportunity to help provide kids this wonderful opportunity and also helps to fund educational programs. You can earmark your donation for a specific state, city, or camp you would like to help fund or we can help choose the right ‘pal’ for you to help, across the country or right at home.
“The Difference Starts with Me” Campaign
Everyone can make a difference. One of the very reasons that the dLife Foundation was formed centers around the efforts of dLife and Hurricane Katrina. At that time, The dLife Foundation, in its infancy, saw thousands of people in need. Not wanting to stand idly by, dLife served as a central point in sending much-needed diabetes supplies to tens of thousands of people, connecting people who wanted to help to those who needed it — over 30,000 packages! Whether it’s helping out after a natural disaster or family tragedy, or assisting those uninsured who can’t afford basic supplies, The dLife Foundation and its many members will always be there to help.
Become a dLife Diabuddy
A dLife Diabuddy is a program for parents and their children to become a universal driving force in helping and influencing others to better take control of their diabetes management. Parents sign up to enlist themselves and their child to become advocates in their schools, speakers at organizational meetings, and help raise funds and decide where the money is to be allocated. They choose who to fund, whether it’s a camp or a project far away or a diabetes need that is right in your own backyard. The dLife Foundation believes that by working with parents and their children, we can empower kids to make a difference and allow them the opportunity to learn about the needs of others.
